Ulysses

Ulysses is a great hero. He did not enjoy ruling his country because he wanted to travel to new places. Ulysses wants to live his life to the fullest. Ulysses has travelled far and wide gaining knowledge of various places, cultures, men and matters. Every hour brings some new experiences, a new knowledge to Ulysses. He says how boring it is just sitting at his kingdom and spending his whole life. Ulysses entrusts his kingdom to his son Telemachus. Telemachus will transform the rugged people into mild by his slow prudence and tenderness. Ulysses opines that death is end to all but before death engulfs him, he wants to do something great. Ulysses suggests that old people are respected. They also have responsibilities. His venture would last till his death. Ulysses and his loyal mariners would travel to Happy Isles. They would meet his war companion Achilles in the course of their voyage. Though Ulysses and his mariners grew old and weak, their spirit is young and undaunted.
