Our school celebrated the 75th Independence Day of our Nation on 15th of August. The Secretary delivered the welcome speech. The Collector of Virudhunagar District, Mr. Meghanatha Reddy, is the chief guest of the celebration. He was honoured by the principal with a garland and shawl. He took salute at the Independence Day march-past. Hoisting the national flag, he delivered the chief guest address stressing on the importance of patriotism and unity. We all must stand for the nation and its unity when it is at threat. He enjoyed and appreciated the various cultural events performed by the students on the theme of independence. He gave away prices to the students who participated in the Independence Day competitions. The Principal proposed the vote of thanks. The celebration came to an end with the national anthem.
