The Grumble Family
The Grumble family lives in ‘complaining street’. They
always grumble on everything. They are unsatisfied. They scold the weather.
They growl at the rain and the sun. If everything pleased them, they would
growl that they had nothing to grumble. Their growling does not end. The
queerest thing is that no one in that family would acknowledge their family
name. If anyone stays with them, they will learn their way of grumbling. The
wisest thing that the poet suggests is to stay away from the grumble family.
The poet advises us not to growl on whatever we do. When things go wrong, we
should not worry. The poet expects everyone to walk with a smile and a song.
