 You are the School Pupil Leader. You have been asked to write a report on the Inaugural Ceremony of English Literary Association of your school which was held recently. Write a report on the same in not more than 120 words.

                 Inaugural ceremony of English Literary  Association was conducted on Feb 17,  2021,  with an objective of  nurturing creative writing skills and elocution in English. The school pupil leader welcomed the gathering. Professor Ashwin, Head of English Department in Gandhi College of Arts and Science is the chief guest of ceremony. In his address, he stressed on  the necessity  of language skills in the present scenario as the world has shrunk into a global village. English serves as a language of communication to the world. He also insisted that the association should be utilised by the students to hone their creativity in their language. Students of  8th standard performed a skit on the theme of Individuality and uniqueness. Suresh of 9th standard recited the famous soliloquy from Macbeth. Mrs. Annie, the English language teacher and the Co-ordinator of English Literary Association proposed the vote of thanks. The ceremony  came to a close with the National  Anthem.
