How do we use technology in our day to day lives?

        Technology has not left any  field untouched. Technology has improved communication. It has enabled us to communicate with anyone, anywhere  in the world. With latest technology, machines are made to work automatically sensing the need. Home appliances can be operated through voice commands. It may even be operated from a long distance. This reduces the burden of our daily chores. Money transfer is also made possible from anywhere and at anytime. One can order any product through e - commerce sites and get it at doorstep. Nowadays, some appliances may self-order any of its content if it goes below the pre-defined limit. Water and Energy management can be taken care by automating all the activities. Technology also helps in the process of teaching and learning. Virtual mode of learning is at hand, when physical class is not possible to be conducted.


” Technology is a boon to the disabled”.Justify.

        Technology has not only made a normal person’s life easier but it is a boon to a citizen with special needs. People with cerebral palsy may not be able to type. A piece of technology called "Dragon Dictate" helps to convert their speech to text. They need not depend on anyone to type on the computer. Technology has opened up the world for the disabled people. Someone who has very limited movement due to any kind of disability can control a computer screen using the pupils of eyes. This is possible with the Eye Gaze system. Liberator Communication Device is controlled by eye movements. It has Bluetooth adapter which helps to use PC or Mac. Augmentative and Alternative Communication,  ECO2 with ECO point  are the other technologies useful to the disabled. Lechal Shoes, Bleewatch and IGEST are some of the Indian innovations for the differently abled community.
