 Let's compare two things.


1 . Which is faster? A train or a plane?

A plane is faster than a train.

Which is cheaper? Gold or Silver?

Silver is cheaper than gold.

Which is larger? City or village?

City is larger than village.

Which is bigger? A sea or an ocean?

An ocean is bigger than a sea.

Which is taller? A giraffe or a camel?

A giraffe is taller than a camel.


 Let's compare three things.


A donkey - a horse - an elephant (strong)

 A donkey is strong.

A horse is stronger than a donkey.

An elephant is the strongest.


Town - city - village (quiet)

City is quiet

Town is quieter than city

Village is the quietest 


Istanbul - Moscow - London (populated)

London is a populated city

Moscow is more populated than London

Istanbul is the most populated city


Windy weather - warm weather - rainy weather (good)

Windy weather is good.

Rainy weather is better than windy weather.

Warm weather is the best. 


Ocean - river - lake (deep)

Lake is a deep waterbody.

River is deeper than lake.

Ocean is the deepest waterbody.


The USA — Russia — Spain (large)

Spain is large.

USA is larger than Spain.

Russian is the largest.


The Mahanadi - The Cauvery - The Ganga (long)

The Cauvery is a long river.

The Mahanadi is longer than the Cauvery.

The Ganga is the longest river.


Chennai - Hyderabad - Bangaluru (modern)

Hyderabad is a modern city.

Chennai is more modern than Hyderabad.

Bangaluru is the most modern city.


Giraffe — Horse — goat (tall)

Goat is a tall animal.

Horse is taller than goat.

Giraffe is the tallest animal.


Elephant - Cat - Dog (strong)

Cat is strong.

Dog is stronger than cat.

Elephant is the strongest.


Maharastra - Tamilnadu - Rajasthan (hot)

Maharastra is a hot state.

Tamilnadu is hotter than Maharastra.

Rajasthan is the hottest state.


Three degrees for a few adjectives..

* Tall - Taller - Tallest

* Smart - Smarter - Smartest 

* Large - Larger - Largest

* Big - Bigger - Biggest 

* Late - later/latter - latest/last
